How many acres do you hunt on?
We hunt in three different 2000+ acre hunting areas. The ranch comprises almost 15000 acres. |
How much do the cows weigh?
Between 900-1000lbs. |
How much do the 3 year old bulls weigh?
950-1050lbs. |
How much do the trophy bulls weigh?
1500-2000lbs. |

Will we be hunting one specific animal, or will we be able to choose our own out of a larger herd?
Most hunts you will be able to choose from a herd of animals with us to help you distinguish the difference
between 2 year old bulls, 3 year old bulls, and cows. If you
pay for a choice bull hunt, you may shoot anything in the
pasture. |
| Are there any less expensive buffalo hunts?
From time to time, there are meats hunts made by special
arrangement. Call for more more information. |
How long does an average hunt last?
Typically, the hunting party arrives the night before and spends the night at the B&B. The next day is spent out in the field hunting and preparing the meat for transport. It is a big day if you take more than 2 animals. Then it is back to the B&B for a big hot supper with the family. Departure is the following day. |

| How many hunts do you do? Approximately
40 hunts per year. |
| Do you give discounts for larger groups?
Yes, but we deal with the groups individually....call and ask Travis about group discounts (605-748-2405). |
| How many can you do a day? Well the record so far is 6 hunts. That was a very big day for us skinners. The hunters however, had a ball. |
| When is the best time to hunt? Late fall to early winter, Typically the end of Oct. through the end of Dec. However, the last 2 years we have hunted all the way through March. |
